Currently, we are seeking a Teleunderwriting Supervisor for our Lee’s Summit facility. This individual is responsible for the daily administrative operations of the department. Monitors workflow within the department to ensure work and client requests are met on a daily basis. Applying and completing reports necessary within Teleunderwriting’s Quality Assurance program. Serve as backup for positions within the department. Responds to the needs and requests of clients and LabOne management and staff in a professional and expedient manner. Observes all compliance policies and safety policies and procedures as outlined in the company Safety Manual or safety matters included in other special training.

 

Additional responsibilities include:

·  Responsible for ensuring a performance appraisal for each individual within the assigned unit, department or group is conducted and completed according to company policy no less than once every 12 months.

·  Responsible for interviewing, hiring, and training of employees within assigned unit, department or group.

·  Responsible for ensuring a performance appraisal for each individual within the assigned unit, department or group is conducted and completed according to company policy no less than once every 12 months.

·  Responsible for timely and accurate submission of information in accordance with the company Time and Attendance Tracking policy.

 

 

Our ideal candidate will possess:High School Diploma or equivalent and some college courses related to business managementTwo years experience in total or combination of the following: teleinterviewing, customer service, quality reviews, and supervisory or management experience.

·  Good management and teambuilding skills

·  Excellent interpersonal communication skills

·  Professional phone manner

·  Accurate, detail oriented

·  Strong customer service orientation

·  Ability to operate in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment

·  The ability to work well with others

·  Self-starter and self-motivated

·  Medical terminology background

·  Organizational skills
