The agency provides weekly one hour individual and two hours group supervision. All licensed therapists or those seeking hours towards licensure are welcome to apply.

 

Position: Therapist, Community & Agency-Based

Location:Pasadena, CA

 

Summary: The Community and Agency-Based Therapist will provide mental health services to clients at our Oak Knoll Office.  In addition, the Therapist will provide comprehensive assessments of children who have been recently detained by DCFS in the community.  Therapist will make recommendations of treatment needs and identify community resources.  Therapist will travel throughout the San Gabriel Valley and will provide in-home services.  Half of the position is based in the Community and half will be based at the Oak Knoll Office. 

   

Qualifications:

· Masters Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology

· Registered or Licensed Clinical Social Worker, MFT, or Psychologist

· Bilingual – Spanish required

· Excellent written and communication skills

· Experience in providing direct service and treatment to individuals, families and groups

· Excellent interpersonal skills

· Ability to effectively and successfully interact with individuals from diverse socio-economic/ethnic groups

· Ability to keep information confidential

· Ability to be an excellent representative of the agency to the community
