Therapist, Licensed (Contract)

QUALIFICATIONS FOR POSITION:

 Master’s Degree in psychology, social work, or related fieldMinimum of one year’s experience providing group, family, or individual therapyLicensed to provide mental health services in the State of FloridaMust meet the licensing board criteria to provide clinical supervision for registered interns.Possesses the knowledge and ability to practice empirically validated treatment  modalities with a range of Axis I diagnoses Experience functioning in the capacity of a supervisor to include providing clinical supervision, clinical training, and relevant administrative tasks is preferred.

 

JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITES:

 

The Licensed Mental Health Professional provides mental health services to Clients of Park Place Behavioral Healthcare;

 

· The candidate in this position will assess patient’s needs and individual treatment concerns upon admission to the Partial Hospitalization Program and continuously throughout the patient’s treatment. 

· Will develop treatment plans addressing the specific needs of the patient with individualized goals for treatment. 

· Plan, prepare, and execute group interventions to assist the patients in reaching their therapeutic goals. 

· Complete the necessary documentation regarding the patient’s daily status, responses to interventions, and weekly progress toward treatment goals. 

· Staff cases with Medical Director, Program Director, and the treatment team to provide effective multidisciplinary treatment. 

· Provide individual, couples, and family therapy as needed to address the specific goals of the patients. 

· Adhere to the policies and procedures of Park Place Behavioral Health Care.

· Perform other duties as assigned by the Program Director.

· Completes all proprietary documentation on Service(s) provided, current observation level, proposed mental health follow-up, and staff recommendations.
