Donor Alliance is a recognized leader in facilitating the donation and recovery of transplantable organs and tissues.  Our primary objectives are to save lives of others through effective family approach and recovery programs in hospitals, and to increase the awareness of the need for organ and tissue donation throughout Colorado and Wyoming.  Donor Alliance is currently seeking a candidate for the following position:

 

Tissue Donation Liaison/Recovery Coordinator:



 

The Tissue Donation Liaison/Recovery Coordinator is responsible for developing and maintaining effective relationships and communication with key coroners and funeral directors throughout the western Colorado service area to facilitate the donor process and increase Donor Alliance visibility.  In addition, this position will be responsible for assisting in the surgical recovery of tissue donors, working both independently and as a team member to facilitate the mission of the company.



 

Qualifications:



 

Bachelor degree in a related field and/or equivalent work related experience in Mortuary Science required.  Three to five years related work experience in customer service, marketing, sales or related field required.  Strong and effective interpersonal skills required in order to communicate effectively the medical community and general public, as well as, partnering agencies.  Must be self-directed and possess excellent problem solving and interpersonal skills.  Proficiency in the use of computer equipment and software, including but not limited to, Windows environment (Word, Excel, Outlook – Intermediate skills) required. Previous experience analyzing and interpreting statistical data preferred. Prior experience within the healthcare field is preferred.  Prior experience with aseptic technique and hospital protocol required to perform various technical functions is preferred.
