Trainer

POSITION SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the VP for HR, provides training, technical and non-technical instruction, and support to end-users on all aspects business including utilizing operating systems, desktop application software and the ongoing training of Customer Care employees. Develops curriculum and associated training materials for desktop applications. Desktop applications may be purchased products such as Microsoft Office or in-house developed desktop or web applications. The end user communities include Hudson Health Plan employees and employees of affiliated organizations.
SPECIFIC DUTIES:Further develop training materials, curriculum and perform training for new employees.Serve as primary contact with end user communities in further developing training curriculum to advance of existing employees’ utilization of technological tools.Develop training materials and curriculum and perform training for in-house developed desktop and web applications.Maintain in-house regularly scheduled training events, consistent with organizational needs.Train staff for affiliated organizations.Provide second level support for help desk.
QUALIFICATIONS: Associate degree in CIS or related area, or equivalent experience. Two years experience in supporting PC desktop applications and operating systems. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Able to adapt to changing environments by using problem-solving, analytical and team-building skills. Proficiency in word processing software, spreadsheet applications, databases applications, presentation software, internet technologies and email systems.
