Nova Health Care Centers is the leading and largest privately held, physician owned outpatient Occupational Medical providers in Texas.  With 14 locations throughout Houston and Dallas, Nova Health Care Centers is seeking a professionally dynamic individual to join our team.

 

This position includes the development, facilitation and implementation of Nova Health Care Centers’ training program in a clinical setting.  This position will be responsible for designing and developing training modules on programs and processes to enhance the effectiveness of our team members.  Position duties may include but is not limited to:

 

- perform needs analysis and formal assessments to construct in-house training  program,

- training manual & learning curriculum creation as well as revisions and modifications as needed

- working with department management in development training modules and assessing team member needs,

- conducting initial training for new team members including systems applications, industry knowledge and specific position processes for all clinic positions,

- leading any follow-up training as needed to enhance team member performance,

- participate in group meetings with company Directors regarding training program,

- conducting follow-up to determine applicability of course material and revise current material as needed,

- other training duties as assigned by management.

 

Five to seven years experience in a training department is required.  Must have previous experience with developing course curriculum and conducting training sessions.  Conducting medical training programs is preferred, but not required.  The candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as strong computer skills including, but not limited to Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook.  Strong organizational skills and the ability to be flexible in the work environment are essential for the success of this position.

 

The position will be based out of Nova Health Care Centers’ corporate office located in Houston, Texas but occasional travel to our clinic locations in Dallas, Texas will be required for training purposes.  Overnight stays while traveling will be required.
