Training Manager

The Training Manager will direct the design, planning and implementation of WellMed and PHC training and education programs. Formulate training policies, procedures and curriculum based on the needs of the organization. Approve new training techniques and suggest enhancements to existing training programs. Direct the integration of an Online Survey and Learning Management System. Form and manage relationships with vendors to ensure appropriate and cost effective resources. Lead and manage a team of training specialists.Required Skills:Excellent communication and presentation skills.  Ability to effectively communicate with varied audience.  Basic PC skills.  Ability to understand business issues and link results to organizational effectiveness. Thorough understanding of training and development strategies and tactics, including needs assessment, program/content development, methods of delivery and program evaluation. Problem solving, leadership, interpersonal and coaching skills, as well as the ability to develop relationships, partnerships and work collaboratively. Self starter with the ability to manage own performance. Demonstrated skills associated with development and effective delivery of training material; transfer of knowledge.  Experience:Must have previous managerial experience to include employee supervision, budget and strategic planning (5 years). Presentation and/or training background (5 years). Knowledge and experience with e-learning technologies. Education:Bachelor Degree in a related field.Master Degree a plus, but not necessary.Certifications in Training and Education functions desired.Participation in professional training association.
