READING HOSPITAL MEDICAL CENTER Reading, PA Full Time, Employee Administrative/Clerical Administrative Support;Filing/Records Management;General/Other: Administrative/Clerical Experienced (Non-Manager) The Trauma Data Coordinator actively participates in the following trauma registry activities under the direction of the Trauma Program Manager: • Accurately abstracts and enters cases into the trauma registry database • Performs inter-rater reliability and validity checks on abstracted cases • Attends trauma-related conferences, Trauma Performance Improvement meetings and Trauma Registry Validation meetings • Reviews all PTSF (Pennsylvania Trauma Systems Foundation) correspondence related to the trauma registry • Processes registry reports for statistical purposes on routine basisAn Associate’s degree in Medical Record Technology or Bachelor’s degree from a Medical Record Administration program is preferred. Related allied health professional will be considered.
