JOB DETAILS: Scheduled hours per week: 40.00, Begin and end Times: VARIES; Days of work: varies SUMMARY: The Trauma Nurse Practitioner (TNP) is an Advanced Practice Nurse delivering individualized comprehensive nursing care to patients and their families with attention to physical assessments, preventative health care, education and medical management of acute and chronic illnesses. The TNP practices case management for patient on the trauma services line in collaboration with a Physician, according to guidelines set forth in the Standard Care Arrangement. REQUIREMENTS:EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCELicensed RN in the State of Ohio, Masters Degree in Nursing, Certificate of Authority in the State of Ohio, Certification as a Nurse Practitioner by nationally-accredited certifying board required for the NP, Current credentials to practice in accordance with hospital policies.KIND and LENGTH of EXPERIENCEThree years related clinical experience in the care of the traumatically-injured patient, Effective customer service, communication and interpersonal skills, Professionally appropriate analytical and organizational skills.
