PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:Audit T & E expense reports for compliance to Policy. MAIN INTERFACES:INTERNALLY: Manager, Accounts Payable, Treasurer, Finance Compliance Specialist, Compliance Officer, Compliance Project Manager, Travel Manager, Administrators, TA Controllers, Human Resources, and employees who submit Concur expense reports.EXTERNALLY: BCD Travel Administrator KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIESAudit Expense Reports - Red Flags, Non-Red Flag HCP & 20Emails - Audit findings to employees, coping manager.Maintain Gelco Mailbox - Audit findings responses from employees, Manager Approvals.Obtain manager approval - Expense items out of policy or over policy limits.Unmatched Report - Weekly emails to employees, coping manger for expense reports not received.Amex Reminder Emails - Monthly email for Amex accounts 30 days & over.Compliance Issues - Copy supporting documentation & report. Forward to Finance Compliance Specialist with complete details of the issue.Open Items Report - Track all email correspondence, manager approvals, log and record into access database with response dates and close dates.Daily Mail - Log & record into access data base.Research - Review Charge Card Transactions List and Amex account for problem employees when necessary.Customer Service - Phone calls, assisting employees with Expenselink or Amex issues.
EDUCATION/LANGUAGESEnglish PROFESSIONAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCEMust have auditing skills, with a general knowledge of HIPAA and the CA state privacy confidentially rules and regulation. Strong computer skills in Microsoft systems, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Strong computer skills in Microsoft Access PERSONAL SKILLS & COMPETENCIESExcellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to interface with all levels of management internally. Must be able to multi-task and manage projects.
