JOB DETAILS: Scheduled hours per week: 40.00, Begin and end Times: 8A TO 5P; Days of work: M-F with some evening and weekend call SUMMARY: This position independently performs requested ultrasound examinations, searching for any possible pathology as indicated by the patient's symptoms/medical history and/or results from previous testing. He/She reviews and discusses the ultrasound findings with the Radiologist and a diagnosis is made. REQUIREMENTS:1-2 yrs ultrasound training from an approved training program. Must have passed (or be registry eligible) the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers. Prior education in a related education. Credentialed or licensed in an allied health field (i.e. RT, RN, MT). Passed the abdominal, OB/GYN, and physics specialties of the registry. 1-2 yrs previous ultrasound experience.
