Ultrasound Technician

Med Health Services provides on-call stat, cost effective diagnostic imaging services in the least costly setting required for the appropriate treatment of both in- and out-patients. The Ultrasound Technician will perform non-invasive vascular sonography, echocardiography and general sonography testing at Med Health Services satellite offices, nursing and personal care homes in the Tri-State area. The Ultrasound Technician processes images on appropriate archival systems and participates in performance improvement activities in the department. Maintains appropriate quality control records and participates in routine equipment testing and maintenance. Requires graduation of a formal ultrasound training program in an approved school as well as a minimum eligible standing for ARDMS certification. Candidates with active ARDMS credentialing and/or cross-trained technicians in all modalities receive bonus upon signing. Previous ultrasound experience preferred. Must be flexible in scheduling, with the ability to rotate shifts. Full time and part time employees’ welcome.
