Ultrasound Technologist POOL

Requirements: Successful completion of an accredited school of Diagnostic Medical Sonography and ARDMS registered in at least two areas (ex. abdomen, obstetrics and gynecology, etc.). (RVT) Vascular experience preferred, must be RVT eligible and be credentialed within 6 months of hire. Ultrasound experience preferred; new graduates who are registry eligible will be considered. Excellent communication,customer relations and critical thinking skills required. Description: Provides direct patient care to patients of all ages on call or POOL. Performs ultrasound examinations as ordered by physicians, contributing to the efficient operation of the department. Provides ultrasound exams in accordance with the standards of scanning protocols and departmental and hospital policies and procedures to ensure a quality exam is provided to the patient.
