Unit Supervisor

We are currently looking for a Full-time Unit Supervisor. This position serves as the immediate supervisor for all direct care professionals. Provides administrative supervision for clinicians. Is responsible for all aspects of the program on a 24-hour basis. Maintains licensure, training, and knowledge as required by TDH and TDFPS. Administrative and fiscal management, as well as clinical supervision over programmatic functions and personnel within the assigned services are essential functions of this position. Ensures that implementation of practice within the service line are in compliance with facility policies and procedures, Devereux's Best Practice guidelines, external regulations, and the treatment philosophy and mission of Devereux. Functions as an integral member of the multidisciplinary treatment team and assists in providing care and treatment that is appropriate to the ages and populations served, specifically children, adolescents, and young adults. Populations may consist of psychiatric, chemically dependent, behavioral, and/or developmentally disordered clients.

Minimum of an Associate's degree in nursing, BSN preferred or a Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field; or a Bachelor's degree in Health Care Administration or completion of Chemical Dependency Program for LCDC. Licensure in the State of Texas as an RN strongly preferred. Will also consider licensure in the State of Texas as one of the following: LCCA, LPC, LMFT, LMSW, LCSW or LCDC. Prefer five years management experience in administration and supervision of programs; experience working with the client populations within assigned services (children, adolescents, and adults).
