Consonus Rehab and Staffing Services is a contract therapy company that sets up therapy departments in skilled nursing facilities/long term care campuses and in hospitals. Our employees can find full-time, part-time or on-call/per-diem positions working in clinical settings such as a hospital, outpatient, in patient or in a skilled nursing facility.
Consonus Rehab Services has over 80 therapy departments across Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Nevada, California and Texas. Consonus has been in business since 1989 and is a subsidiary of Marquis Companies. Consonus specializes in servicing the needs of customers that reside in the long term care setting. Job Summary:
Manages the new graduate, University and College recruitment workload in a variety of disciplines (Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, PTA, COTA and Speech Language Pathologist) across the United States.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Development, coordination and attendance University and Career Fairs, LuncheonsMaintain all Clinical Affiliation Agreements and spreadsheets of clinical internsAssign Clinical Interns to the appropriate facility and stateDevelop a Summer Internship Program Meet all Clinical and Summer Interns and their assign mentorWrite advertising and other recruitment documents for University and College Job positingResponsible for mailing, emailing and cold calling all student and or new graduatesResponsible for job posting on University and College websitesBuild and maintain long-term relationships with strategic Universities to create brand recognition on campus, including students, faculty, clinical intern placement coordinators and career center personnelCoordinate all recruiting events on campus, including career fairs and events with student organizationsDetermine, develop and participate in presentations, receptions, and networking opportunitiesConduct and coordinate the campus interview and selection process for new hires and interns. Design and execute campus and site visits, involving students and company associatesPartner with Regional Recruiters in developing recruitment strategies, selection process and assimilation of new hiresCoordinate communication and follow-up with all candidatesTravel up to 50% and as much as 75% during peak recruiting seasonsSet up debrief meetings for college on-site interviews. Develop and maintain a sourcing strategy of new graduates to ensure strong applicant pool thru out the yearProactively identify and implement process improvements Performs other duties as required or assigned
Qualifications and Requirements:
The qualified candidate will have BA/BS degree required in Business, Human Resources, or a related field. 1-4 years of recruitment experience is required. The qualified candidate will be able to demonstrate a high level of personal initiative to achieve goals and objectives. Must have the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and manage the University/College recruitment process with several hiring managers. A highly creative person who “thinks outside of the box” with a positive enthusiasm and abundance of energy is desired. Experience maintaining positive working relationships with multiple managers and outside vendors. Excellent organizational, presentation, oral and written skills required. Must be able to travel 50% of the year. Extensive computer skills needed such as; Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Access.
