Description:DESCRIPTIONThe incumbent in this position performs the implementation of vendor-supplied software packages including the installation, customization, deployment, maintenance, and ongoing support. Develops functional specifications for software development projects and resolves complex application use issues. Plans and coordinates the client involvement in completion of related IS tasks. Develops and maintains existing software programs. Performs unit testing of software by coordinating installation of modifications. Receives and responds to support calls from users. Logs calls in Help Desk system. Uses Help Desk system to document call status and ultimately, call resolution.
Notes and Comments:
Associates or BS degree in Computer Science or related field or commensurate experience desired. Experience with COBOL, RPG, CICS, Visual C++, Cerner CCL and Cerner Discern
RESUME REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION :
Expert programming preferred. Understanding of the healthcare information system environment preferred. Clinical application implementation and support experience preferred.
