VASCULAR SONOGRAPHER

Peninsula Regional Medical Center is a nationally recognized, state of the art, 366 bed tertiary care facility located on the beautiful Eastern Shore of Maryland. Our facility is one of Maryland's largest and fastest growing healthcare systems, which is currently implementing a 100 Million Dollar Expansion and Renovation project. We utilize some of the latest technologies such as Computerized Physician Order Entry, Electronic Medical Records, Point of Service Bar Coding and a Robotic Pharmacy.

 

We are seeking a Vascular Sonographer to perform vascular ultrasound procedures at a level of competence not requiring supervision of technical detail. Will participate in a variety of patient care and technical activities related to the operations of the Cardiovasular Lab.

 

Must have at least one year in the field of non-invasive cardiovascular testing or be a graduate of an accredited ultrasound program. Minimum of two years college education in the health sciences or paramedical training preferred. Current registry as a Vascular Sonographer or Cardiac Sonographer (ARDMS) preferred.
