VNA Manager IT IS

The IT/ IS Manager will insure the ongoing operation of the Hallmark Health VNA &Hospice's Clinical Information Systems while overseeing the system's integrity and confidentiality. He/ she will assess the needs of the department's information system and implement changes as needed. The Manager will also ensure the provision of ongoing educationand support the collection of clinical data for analysis to insure quality patient care.

He/ she must maintain an updated knowledge of JCAHO, DPH, and HIPAA regulations and standards for documentation; ensuring the staff understands the same when utilizing clinical documentation software Misys.The ManagerResponsible for creating reports using Misys.Support the collection and transmission of OASIS data while supervising the Clinical Application Support Analyst. Supervise the educationof staff in computer and documentation issues as well as supervising the daily operations of the Medical Records Department and staff.

Bachelors Degree or equivalent, certification in information technology. Excellent communication skills. Leadership, supervisory experience preferred
