VP Sales and Marketing

The VP will be charged with growing market share, revenue and profit.  The company goal is to double in the next 4-5 years.  The VP must attract and retain a team of account managers and staff who can meet these goals.  He/She will drive the strategic sales planning processes in each region and will determine territory structure, incentive compensation plans, performance targets and pipeline/forecast to close ratios.  Must have a minimum of 5 years sales leadership and GPO experience in healthcare or long term care environments.

 

Responsibilities

The Vice President reports to the President and has responsibility for growing market share, revenue and profit.  The Vice President must attract and retain a team of account managers and staff who can successfully meet these goals. The Vice President will drive the strategic sales planning processes in each region and will determine:Territory structureSales incentive compensation plansPerformance targetsPipeline/Forecast to close ratios

The Vice President will also coordinate regional mentorship programs and participate actively in the sales process, particularly with large or key accounts.

Experience and EducationA minimum of 5 years sales leadership experience in for-profit organizations is requiredA proven track record in delivering top line sales results on an individual and management basis is requiredExperience in setting quotas and creating commission incentives that are in line with the company’s and individual objectivesExperience working within a GPO in any industry will be an advantageExperience in health care, specifically long term care, is desirable but not requiredExperience in setting and achieving annual budgetsA bachelor’s degree or higher is required
