Vendor Services Consultant
In this role, you will be accountable for the education, implementation and monitoring of subcontractors and vendors, ensuring service delivery, as well as adherence to enterprise guidelines/requirements. Responsibilities include: coordinating, monitoring and documenting operational issues acting as a liaison between the enterprise, subcontractors and vendors resolving problems/issues regarding compliance and contractual obligations analyzing SOW requirements, identifying deficiencies and recommending changes monitoring performance against contractual obligations implementing system changes with vendors/subcontractors implementing new programs/initiatives helping decrease administrative costs and increase work efficiencies associated with IT systems identifying/implementing process improvements handling other compliance related activities as they related to contracted vendors and subcontractors To qualify, you must have a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field, along with 5+ years experience in the health care industry, preferably in compliance and/or auditing. This position also requires experience in project management, action plan development and monitoring, vendor management, as well as prior supervisory experience. Ability to work efficiently in a team environment, manage change, take on a leadership role, and communicate effectively will be expected, as will knowledge of managed care and the health insurance industry. Solid problem-solving skills and PC proficiency are also essential.
