Vice President, Sales and Marketing, PerformRx

This position has full management responsibility for the sales and marketing functions throughout the country.  Job responsibilities include setting sales and service strategy, competitive intelligence, and sales execution to achieve membership growth and earnings targets.

 

Responsibilities/Requirements: Ability to build and maintain good relationships is key to success in this position. The VP, Sales and Marketing will work to insure that PerformRx is recognized as the PBM of choice in targeted markets.  Full management responsibility for the PerformRx sales and marketing staff.  Work with sales staff to insure there is a focused approach to growth of the business. Set sales and service strategy, competitive intelligence, and sales execution to achieve membership growth and earnings targets.  Maintain and have the ability to communicate an understanding of the PBM environment as well as PerformRx’s competitive edge in this environment. Responsible for the on-going training and development of sales and marketing staff.  Previous sales management experience with proven results required.  Proven ability to build relationships required.  Broad understanding of how a PBM works as well as an understanding of the Medicaid Managed Care environment. Medicare Part D experience preferred.  Must be excited about new opportunities, possess a willingness to learn and grow in a fast paced environment.  Strong interpersonal communication skills, flexibility, and ability to appropriately influence others at various levels from an internal and external perspective. Responsible for managing consultants as well as own staff.  Must have established relationships with the PBM consulting community.  Proven ability to identify sales opportunities through consultant relationships.  Supports and carries out the Mercy Mission & Values.
