Web Application Manager

Direct and coordinate day-to-day project team activities and assist the director in the overall planning and management of systems implementations by developing workplans, providing progress reports, completing projects and meeting deadlines, as applicable. Design and develop or modify application systems to meet identified needs. This process may include system functions, report formats, form design, data flow, tables, files, programs, screens, pathways, matrices, profiles, controls and cost/benefit analyses as applicable. Develop related specification documents for user approval. Document thoroughly all system-related activities including user requests, system design, development, modifications, testing, production turnover, operations and user procedures. Participate in system installation and implementation activities, including conversion user support, as required to meet project objectives. MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS: -Bachelors degree in a related field (Information Systems; Business; Healthcare), or comparable experience to have developed equivalent skills/capabilities. -Required is a minimum of 2-4 years of work experience in developing and supervising the development of Internet/Intranet applications. -Multiple area, healthcare, HUP/CPUP or UPHS-vendor experience preferred. -Knowledge of HTML, XML, JavaScript, SQL, ASP, and Photoshop or equivalent graphics package required. -Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, and relational data models and database design preferred. -Understanding of Internet protocols and communication standards including experience with UNIX, Windows web environments required. -Experience developing and managing project plans required. -Demonstrated skills in leadership, coordination, follow-up and independent performance are also required.
