Carol is redefining the purchasing relationship between consumers and health care providers with a Web-based, retail marketplace in which local health care providers sell health care services directly to consumers.

Carol, The Care Marketplace will give consumers open access to services provided by physicians and other practitioners- in the hospitals, clinics, and specialty clinics you already use. We work with individual health insurance plans to give consumers real and estimated costs.
Objective:
Carol, the Care Marketplace, is seeking a versatile Web Product Manager who will serve as the point of contact for maximizing online conversion-related product development targeting the health care shopping consumer. This role will specifically focus on optimizing the online consumer experience during the shopping process of finding products, comparing products and selecting products.
The Web Product Manager is responsible for assessing the strengths and weakness of new online development opportunities, management of online product development for small to large-scale web-based projects from inception to execution and serving as the integration point for questions, concerns and suggestion for projects focused on converting browsing consumers to buyers.
This role has direct impact through these highly visible responsibilities:Conduct feasibility analysis for Web Product development opportunities including the gathering of competitive intelligence, market potential, analytic/measurement data, consumer feedback analysis; evaluate opportunities and the delivery of strategic recommendations for future conversion focused product development.Create and manage plans for specific Web products incorporating input from customers and internal stakeholders.Translate customer and market needs data into Web site project requirements designed to enhance the user experience and improve site experience.Serve as functional product owner to create and manage plans for small to large-scale conversion-focused web-based projects from inception to completion (e.g., creative brainstorm, scope development, QA, review, continuous improvement, etc.) Contribute engaging and innovative ideas/concepts for site development.
· Manage activities related to understanding customer Web needs through coordination and organization of site/ consumer testing, usability, and heuristics reviews.
· Stay current with market research, competitive sites, and new trends in web design and technology.
Key Qualifications:Bachelor's degree required. 5 + years experience as a web producer, web project manager, or web/ecommerce/interactive product manager.Ability to lead meetings, strong presentation skills, and interact effectively with strong personalities.Proven excellent relationships and communication with co-workers and clients. Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking capabilities. Knowledge of user interface design principles, web design best practices and a strong visual design sensibility. Knowledge of web analytic packages and databases for reporting a plus.
