Web Services Product Manager - healthcare communication services

PerfectServe, Inc. provides interactive physician contact and patient care communication services to hospitals, physician practices and other healthcare clients in more than 130 markets across the U.S.  The company’s advanced rules-based communications platform allows hospitals to standardize measure and continuously improve their patient care communication processes, while providing physicians with unprecedented accuracy, reliability and personal control over how they are contacted.

The Web Services Product Manager will lead the design and development of PerfectServe’s Web applications and services including the development of a new Web User Interface and hospital systems connectivity services. The Web Services Product Manager will serve as a strategic member of a cross-functional team responsible for all aspects of the design and development of PerfectServe’s healthcare communication applications and service delivery platform.

 

Success Factors:Define, design, develop and implement PerfectServe’s physician and nurse web services portal to enhance the site’s functionalities and capabilities, increase customer satisfaction and continue to build value in the PerfectServe brand.Collaborate with team members to collect requirements, define project scope, design web services site features for physicians and nurses, lead implementation, coordinate launch details, analyze product performance against business objectives, and guide future product evolution.Work with client physicians, nurses and unit coordinators to identify and thoroughly understand their communication processes and workflow needs.Analyze client data and interpret client needs to best define product and service goals and develop written functional requirements.Develop and refine usability test plans, conduct usability tests, analyze results and develop design enhancement recommendations.Identify new technologies, opportunities and threats; contribute to enhancing PerfectServe’s product positioning and long-term development roadmap. Analyze and refine the effectiveness of existing user interfaces to continuously improve and enhance user satisfaction, experience and delight.Collaborate with designers and engineers to deliver new applications and enhancements.Collaborate with other team members to develop effective user support and education materials, and develop and execute effective implementation strategies and programs.

 

Essential Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Human Factors, Cognitive Psychology, Product Design or Computer Science. Minimum 3-5 years experience in designing interactive Web-based user interfaces.Deep understanding of technology in general and, in particular, technology required to successfully build online products (i.e., latest web development technologies and capabilities).Experience in a customer- facing product marketing roleDemonstrated ability to meet aggressive product development and product launch deadlines.Strategic thinker with a tactical hands-on focus towards delivering results. Proven experience in human factors engineering and/or product interface design.Perceptive ability to discern and appreciate aesthetically pleasing style and design. Excellent organizational and project management skills.Self motivated individual with natural leadership and entrepreneurial spirit.A strong work ethic and desire to see results; with a willingness to do “what it takes” to get a task or project completed with distinction.Experience working in technical support, system administration, product development, or marketing type roles focused in product management.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to excel in a fast-paced, cross-functional, entrepreneurial environment.
