Wellness Coordinator- HL

Healthways is recruiting Wellness Coordinator to help support our client site in Newberry, SC.The Wellness Coordinator is responsible for managing the local worksite delivery of the Client's Wellness Program. The Wellness Coordinator will be assigned a region in which they will be responsible for implementing and sustaining a successful Wellness Program for the client. This includes managing reporting and engagement of participant eligibility, promotional support, participation tracking, and resolving any customer issues, complaints or grievances that may arise. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:*Communicate with and distribute to participants detailed information regarding the Wellness Program and any applicable changes. This includes both oral and written communication materials.*Work with Client's Communication Team to create Wellness Program communication materials including e-mails, flyers, brochures, etc.*Create and implement Health Action Plans, and other site-specific programs such as walking programs and other individualized health programs.*Assist Client's Corporate Wellness team with coordination of health screenings and local health fairs.*Manage and facilitate special events and face-to-face sessions at all locations within the assigned region.*Assist with measurement and reporting of Wellness program outcomes, site location participation data, health fair participation, etc.*Communicate to site employees via all potential communication channels what is happening in and around their sites, community wellness events, lectures, announcements, etc. *Face to face employee advising sessions- when necessary act as on site coach*Provide engagement and promotional support.Requirements:*Bachelor degree in health promotion or related field (Master's degree preferred).*Appropriate industry certifications (AFB, ACSM, CHES, etc.) desired.*Minimum of two years experience in a corporate wellness environment with proven experience managing business process improvement projects. *Frequent monthly travel (up to 40% at times)within the assigned region and at other times as needed. *Highly detail oriented with strong analytical skills. *Proven ability to manage and delegate effectively. *Excellent communication, organizational and time-management skills.*Experience managing different types of health promotion programs, while maintaining core programmatic consistency.*The ability to work effectively in a fast moving environment with shifting priorities and significant activity.*Strong program planning skills.*Strong understanding of behavior change theory.We are proud to be an EEO/AA employer M/F/D/V.Health Advisor,Health CoachAdditional Information: Travel Percentage: 40%
