Women's Supportive Services Program Manager

Community Healthcare Network, NYC, is one of NYC's largest network of not-for-profit community-based healthcare centers that provides primary healthcare, mental health and social services to medically underserved neighborhoods throughout Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens and the Bronx.

We are actively seeking a WSS Program Manager for our Queens Healthcare Center located on Sutphin Blvd in Jamaica, Queens.

The WSS Program Manager is responsible for the coordination and supervision of the Queens Women's Support Services program and for intergrating the support services with CFP COBRA programs.

Essential functions include but not limited to:

*Supervises WSS Coordinators and Peer Educators
*Provides case supervision, case conmferencing and evaluative reviews for
  cases handled by the WSS Team 
*Co-facilites support groups for HIV positive clients and attends HIV Care
  Network meetings and participates in the group's Case Management Unit
*Coordinates with the Senior Vice President in developing linage agreements
 with appropriate medical and social service agencies
*Handles administrative functions including reporting, disbursement of
  emergency funnds, etc

Qualifications:

*B.A or B.S degree (MSW preferred) with concentration in Social Services or
  related field
*3-5 years supervisory/managerial and administrative experience
*Strong verbal and written communication skills
*Considerable experience with HIV issues
*Computer literate
