X-Ray Tech/Medical Assistant

 

X-Ray Tech/Medical Assistant with back office experience needed for busy Orthopedic Practice in Huntington Beach.

 

 

 

General Responsibilities include, but are not limited to;

 

·  Greeting/Rooming patients

·  Back Office Procedures

·  Acquire prior authorizations from Insurance Carriers for procedures

·  Sterilization techniques

·  Examination assistance

·  Injections

·  Vital Signs

·  Bilingual; English/Spanish helpful

·  EKG

·  Venipuncture

 

 

Certifications/Licenses:

 

Must have limited X-Ray Technician License (Chest, Torso-Skeletal)

Must be certified as a Medical Assistant

Must be Venipuncture Certified

Will train on Extremity MRI

 

Must be computer literate, Microsoft office literate, Cal-Med experience a plus. Workers Comp and PI knowledge. Must be a team player, and have a high level of energy. Previous Orthopedics experience also a plus!
