eMarketing Consultant

 

This position is responsible for oversight of strategic eMarketing products, services, or capabilities associated to the Corporation's web portals. Acting as overall project manager for specific projects.  This includes developing and managing project plans, including due dates for deliverables. Enforcing timeframes, request updates and engagement in potential problem analysis and issue resolution.  This also includes functioning as a Business analyst, including business specification development and user acceptance testing.  The incumbent must also function as a subject matter expert for selected specific products, services or capabilities.  The incumbent is also expected to analyze and ensure quality of reporting for selected projects/products and manage contractors for assigned initiatives. Other duties include, monitoring competitors and marketplace trends and assisting in identifying new project opportunities as well as identifying gaps in capabilities and potential solutions to those gaps, development of RFP and management of RFP process for new vendor services, as necessary, as well as oversight for operations of and interfaces with existing vendors. 

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

 

• Bachelors degree OR High School Diploma/GED with 5 years experience with web site related projects.

 

• 2 - 4 years of experience managing medium to large scale projects in a business environment, to include the use of Microsoft Project or other project management software.

 

• 2 years experience as a business analyst engaging in all aspects of the project lifecycle. 

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

 

• Masters degree in business, Computer Science, MIS or other related field.

 

• Web usability/human-computer interaction experience, exposure, knowledge or training.

 

• 2+ years of business experience in designing, maintaining or developing web sites.
