Maritz Travel Company, the national leader in business meeting strategy, execution and results, has opportunities available for an experienced Travel Buyer located on site in East Hanover, NJ. As the Travel Buyer you will be responsible for the negotiation of critical program components, including but not limited to pricing, basic terms, conditions, and expense invoice processing.  Qualified candidate must possess the ability to efficiently track information on programs and must have prior hotel & meeting planning experience, excellent communication skills, destination knowledge both domestic and international, along with negotiation and budgeting skills.  Proven experience in developing and maintaining key client and Account Manager/Account Executive relationships, stand-up presentation experience, travel program costing experience, and proven financial management experience required.

 

International destination knowledge and/or previous pharmaceutical experience is a definite plus.
