We are one of the nation's leading full service contractors for expositions, corporate events, conventions and exhibit programs. Established in 1927 and privately owned, we have grown to over 80 offices in North America. We are seeking talented, enthusiastic people who will give our clients the best service in the industry. This is an operational account management position, not a sales position. The account manager is the point of contact for the client and the internal departments before, during and after the production of the show. General Job Description: Ensure production information is communicated effectively to all producing branches involved with the event or project and follow through to completion, including invoicing Serve as the direct contact for the client and work with them through all stages of production as determined mutually by Sales and Account Management Assist with analyzing account management process and provide positive solutions to better the process Mentor and assist with training of account coordinators Communicate and coordinate production information including service orders through TSS, CBS (Central Billing System) and SalesForce.com and reviews/confirms details with producing branches/depots and outside vendors Develop, monitor and distribute timelines and schedules Work closely with account executives on assigned jobs in advance and at showsite, if deemed necessary Assist the Account Executive in role of client liaison as required Floor plan/booth layout development, designs/renderings, graphics coordination and organization of archiving process Prepare showsite information for Account Executive, clients and showsite supervisors, as requested and may include work ticket books, service order forms, floorplans/layouts, travel information and transportation Assist Account Executive with budgets in gathering information necessary to meet the client's requirements Coordinate travel requests and per diem information with traveling showsite supervisors, as necessary Travel to showsite for the event/project when necessary in cooperation with the Account Executive and Director of Account Management Set up of the staff office/command post in a manner which will compliment the requirements of the Freeman staff and operation on showsite if necessary Arrange for all necessary communications, including telephone, radios and other communications services as required on showsite if necessary Meet on site personnel including, facility representative, general foreman and other service contractors Develop the team player list and communicate with the client and producing branch as required by the Account Executive Generate the pseudo invoice/billing summary/billing draft for the client's review and edit prior to the end of the show, follow up with all suppliers and cost areas to make sure they are covered in the billing, review job costs, after Account Executive audits and approves pseudo invoice/billing summary/billing draft and finalize invoice for payment Train and assist with TMS, TSS, CBS and EMS wherever necessary with account executives and other support personnel Archive all show information for future reference along with invoicing support, graphics and any necessary changes on future events Access up-to-date price master information for use in the work ticket process Research specific projects and contact the branch for necessary information, including internet information on clients and services as requested by sales to use in preparing proposals for clients Minimum Qualifications: Three (3) years of industry related experience in tradeshow account management, hotel event management or exhibit program management is REQUIRED Ability to work independently on assigned accounts Excellent written and verbal communications skills Ability to read construction plans, set-up drawings and floor plans Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs Excellent customer service skills Work Schedule:Business hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Business hours will extend into nights and weekends.
