Founded in 1968, Sapona Country Club is a 475 member private country club. The club features a 18 hole Ellis Maples designed golf course, pool facility, tennis courts and a clubhouse that was renovated this winter. The clubhouse facility includes; a dining room with seating for 75, 3 private meeting rooms and a banquet facility with a capapcity of 400 people. Food and beverage sales will reach over $800,000. The assistant manager/clubhouse manager will be responsible for hiring, training and supervising all service staff and housekeeping staff. The candidate will oversee all dining, banquets and special member events along with the overall upkeep of the clubhouse. Excellent communication skills, an outgoing personality, energetic and organizational skills are a must. The ideal candidate needs to have 2 years managerial experience in a private club or related field.
