Chief Engineer

The primary function of a Chief Engineer is to assure the overall success of the hotel by meeting or exceeding the guest expectation for working order of mechanical systems. Additional responsibilities include developing and implementing continuous improvements of process and performance, directing and coordinating associate recruitment, promotion, discharge, transfer and training. The Chief Engineer must maintain a safe and working environment throughout the hotel for all associates, enforce safety guidelines and build awareness about safety. The Chief Engineer also monitors associate productivity and makes improvements for increased service or productivity, supervises day to day activities of subordinates and assigns responsibility for specified work or functional activities, disseminates policies to subordinates, gives work directions, resolves problems, prepares schedules and sets deadlines to ensure timely completion of work, trains all unit staff positions and ensures that all tasks are completed.
We are seeking a candidate who has 2-3 years of engineering experience in a similar size facility.
