Director of Housekeeping

The Great Wolf Lodge in Grand Mound, WA is seeking a director to manage organizational operations for the housekeeping department. Responsibilities include directing staff; developing organizational and operations strategies; preparing budgets; controlling expenses; managing purchasing; conducting inventories; and maintaining a safe, secure and healthy environment.

 

Extensive management experience in a large scale hotel or resort is required. Must have excellent management skills to include conflict resolution, coaching, development and teamwork; ability to take an exhaustive approach to every task; be committed to comprehensive and in-depth analysis, planning and implementation of every work task.  The ideal candidate must be a charismatic leader who adjusts leadership style to motivate and inspire team members; is responsible for the development, implementation, and monitoring of programs that assure a safe facility and work environment; and able to lift up to 30 lbs., bending, stretching.
