Director of Revenue Management

This position will be responsible for planning, directing and executing Revenue Management activities for Motel 6, ACCOR NORTH AMERICA economy brand hotels. To maximize sales revenue potential, reinforce the company's strategic goals for this component of the business, and impact the P/L in a positive manner. Additionally, will manage a staff of direct or indirect reports of 6.

*Must have 5 to 10 years related business experience and/or Bachelors Degree in Business administration, finance or related


* Strong demonstrated analytical skills with experience in solving "real life" business problems particularly in regards to multi-market lodging specific to revenue management strategies and tactical implementation.
* Proven expereince in forcasting and budgeting, P&L etc..

* Advanced knowledge of data modeling and proven ability to create innovative business solutions utilizing available resources. Demonstrated ability to work with both in-house IT support groups and external vendors in the resolution of business problems

* Excellent computer skills, experience with Global Distribution Systems preferred. Must be proficient in use of Oracle databases and Microsoft products with proven high competency in advance functionalities of Access and Excel.

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills up and down the corporate ladder.

* Ability to make presentations in front of large groups.

* Additionally must have supervisory skills, able to manage and coach a diverse work team.
