Director of Sales - Aquarius Casino Resort, Laughlin, NV

The Aquarius is currently searching for an experienced Director of Sales, responsible for the overall successful operation of the Hotel Sales Department.  Drives incremental revenue for the hotel through successful tradeshow marketing and other avenues. Responsible for supervision of Sales staff, including hiring, training, evaluating, and disciplining employees. Responsible to develop tradeshow marketing plans to drive hotel sales. Works closely with the VP of Marketing and VP of Hotel Operations to devise strategies to increase revenue. Continuously motivate employees to drive sales, and progressively train employees for advancement and success in their position. Analyze the future needs of the property and make recommendations to rebuild and transition the sales team to successfully meet those needs. Other duties as assigned by management.


Qualified candidates will possess the following:

Minimum five years experience as a Director of Sales or Regional Director of Sales. Progressive advancement preferred. Experience in the Casino industry or experience in an upscale hotel brand. Strong knowledge or previous experience in Reservations and Front Desk operations, Yield Management required. Strong computer skills, including experience with LMS, Delphi, and Microsoft Office required. Experience with Banquet, and Food and Beverage operations preferred. Excellent communication and organizational skills required. Previous experience creating and interpreting P&Ls required. High school diploma or equivalent required. Must be able to obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company. Must be able to verify right to work in the United States.
