The Facilities Manager will support stores in the following areas: Colorado, Utah, Kansas, Missouri, New Mexico and Nebraska Regularly visit stores and work with General Managers on facility issues to ensure our store facilities are a cut above industry standards Educate Operations to understand their facilities and how to properly handle their equipment Provide consultation on all facilities related questions Work with the Project Manager's to minimize down time Respond to emergency calls, manage service vendors Responsible for minor store remodels, repair and maintenance cost control Work closely with General Managers, ACO's and RDO's to ensure facility issues are addressed in a timely manner Requirements: Education: College degree in BA or in sciences preferred Experience: Three years in facility maintenance relate field Skills: Excellent communications skills and inter-personal skills, computer literate Knowledge: Some refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing and general building construction Abilities: Fast learner, able to stand by 24 hrs service calls The success of this position will be measured by: Expected savings over $100,000 vs. out source facility management Expected to complete 100 minor remodel stores annually Positive feedback from Operations The ideal candidate for this position will be someone who: Has an aptitude for learning Proactively looks for and generates approaches to new ideas Demonstrates initiative- is an "out of the box thinker" The Panda Restaurant Group follows the principles of the Seven Habits of Highly Effective People and recommends that all interested candidates become familiar with the Seven Habits of Highly Effective People, by Stephen Covey, in addition to our Mission and Values listed on our Panda website.
