Wyndham Worldwide, headquartered in Parsippany, N.J., employs approximately 30,000 employees globally.  At Wyndham Worldwide we seek individuals who truly want to make a difference everyday they come to work.  We provide a fast paced and fun environment where you are rewarded for your contributions to the organization. Summary:  The Global Sales Director, Incentive Group is responsible for creating and maintaining customer relationships to increase business and revenue at all Wyndham Branded properties.  Responsible for prospecting and closing on assigned accounts/territory specifically in the Incentive Market.  Handles primarily A and B accounts. Develop face-to-face business relationships with all customers.  Responsible for contract negotiations and act as agent on behalf of WHG. Attend Tradeshows and utilize T&E Budget with existing accounts.  Responsibilities:Achieve and/or exceed annual revenue goals. Customer Relationships requires face-to-face contact to develop and nurture relationships.  This includes but is not limited to personal visits, entertainment and client site inspections. Requires regular contact to carry out programs and to explain non-specialized matter or occasional contact with officials at higher levels on matter requiring cooperation, explanation and negotiation.  Requires regular external contact to carry out organization programs and to explain specialized matters.  Hotel Partnerships:  Effective communication to ensure we are qualifying all business prior to sending leads.  Follow up on all prospective business to offer assistance in closing.   Account Management: Must include re-qualifying owned and potential accounts.  Assure that all customers are contacted via outside appointments and calls on a consistent basis according to Sop’s. Complexities & Impact to the Organization: Directors are empowered to make decisions within the scope of the company’s standards and expectations. Ongoing supervision is provided on an “as needed basis”.  Some independent judgment is necessary to select and apply the most appropriate of available procedures. Directors are often required to make decisions and final recommendations that routinely affect the activities of an entire division.  Directors are responsible by identifying and addressing areas of opportunity as well as recognizing achievements of their administrative support staff.   Bachelor’s Degree required. At least 5 to 7 years of progressive experience in a hotel or a related field required   Established customer relationships within the Incentive market.  Knowledge and  involvement in related industry organizations.
