Group Sales Manager

Busy Hotel looking for a Group Sales Manager.

The ideal candidate would be responsible for both the acquisition of new group business and maintenance of existing group business in the assigned market segment. To assure group revenue meets or exceeds individual goals as well as budget.

Job Requirments:

(1) Must have previous hotel sales experience

(2) Solicit, negotiate, develop and book new and repeat business through various efforts to include outside sales calls, telemarketing, site inspections and networking, with a strong emphasis on acquiring new accounts.

(3) To maximize space and revenues to meet/exceed individual monthly goals.

(4) Ability to maintain consistent verbal and written communication with clients and conduct hotel site tours, make on site and off site presentations to prospective clients and participate in the local community to develop business.

(5) Candidates must have excellent phone sales skills, presentation and communication skills. Ability to negotiate effectively is essential. Candidate must possess good organizational and time management skills.
