Your duties and responsibilities are embodied in the five steps of MAGIC and are essential to the successful execution thereof. In your role, you will help us deliver outstanding service and hospitality to our guests to ensure they have a fantastic vacation while staying with our resorts and all their needs are met above their expectations. You will accomplish this by following the service standards that are part of our culture of MAGIC.Job Summary:* Supervise the daily operation of the front desk and its team* Guest check-in; guest check-out; answering guest and staff questions; running reports as required* Interact with owners, guests, potential owners, affiliated business units and staff regarding Resort inquiries, complaints, comments and suggestions with appropriate problem solving and service recovery actions * Analyze Resort inventory requirements and assure that all reservations are accommodated to the highest efficiency levels possible* Assist Guest Services Manager/Assistant Manager with Team/Staff issues * Perform duties of a general clerical nature as needed* High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree or two-year technical certificate preferred* One year of Customer Service experience in a hotel setting* Two years of Supervisory experience* Reservations Software or proven aptitude and familiarity with computer software* Prolonged standing/walking* Must maintain a professional appearance and a cordial attitude towards all guests and staff* Able to handle the stress of high customer demand in a hospitality environment* Must be people oriented and able to work independently or with others as needed* Must be able to easily and frequently change from one activity to another * Must be able to supervise staff in a front desk operation in a manner that effectively supports and promotes teamwork while helping each individual achieve personal growth and opportunity
