** HOST RUNNER - NEW UPSCALE RESTAURANT CONCEPT OPENING SOON **

RestaurantOpening in June, this exciting new upscale full-service concept will serve Thai, Vietnamese, Malaysian, Singaporean, Indonesian and East Indian cuisines.  The food is served Asian family-style to create an environment that brings people together.  RockSugar also features a full-service bar with exotic cocktails, extensive wine list and private dining space. This position is responsible to ensure that restaurant seating is at capacity working in conjunction with the Filler (i.e., Greeter /Filler Host who designates and directs guests to specific tables).  The position must ensure that a continuous and accurate status or update the level of activity of each table is reported to the Host Greeter/Filler through the use of symbols depicted on an update card as a result of visual inspection.  The position is responsible for guiding guests to the best possible table with care and friendly conversation while ensuring the guests’ satisfaction.  The Runner is also accountable for answering the telephone and responding to questions regarding location of the restaurant, general menu contents and lost/found issues. Other significant responsibilities include general housekeeping of bathrooms, host area and overall cleanliness of the restaurant.
