Job Description Position Title:  Floor Care Specialist  Immediate Supervisor’s Title:Housekeeping Manager and SupervisorScheduled Hours:Monday- Friday, 10 PM - 6:30 AM OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES:   Under direct supervision, responsible for maintaining, cleaning and caring for all floor surfaces through the Marriott Headquarters by performs all daily, weekly, and specific cleaning tasks, which are assigned.  QUALIFICATIONS/PRE-REQUISITES: Completion of a high school level of course work or equivalent is preferred.  Ability to understand and follow instructions. JOB REQUIREMENTS: ·  Minimum lifting 45lbs. ·  Pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, upward reaching ·  Exposure to cleaning chemicals ·  Prolonged periods of standing and/or walking ·  Ability to operate equipment such as hand and power tools, vacuum cleaner, buffer and shampooer.  JOB FUNCTIONS: ·  This is a list of tasks for maintaining, cleaning, and caring of all floor surfaces at Marriott Headquarters. Duties and responsibilities may vary depending on assigned tasks. ·  Operate equipment necessary to clean, sand, strip and coat a variety of floor surfaces including carpets, brick floor, tile, concrete and marble surfaces.  ·  Vacuum office spaces and conferences rooms on each floor. ·  Dust and wet mop floors stairwells. ·  Dust and wet mop elevators transport; vacuum and brush elevators carpet. Shampoo carpets weekly.  ·  Dust and wet mop floors restrooms ·  Vacuum cafeteria and dining corridor carpet area; dust and wet mop cafeteria and dining corridors brick floor. Shampoo carpet weekly.
