POSITION PURPOSE: Receive inbound calls from customers who have received a marketing offer resulting in an inbound phone call and attempt to sell a marketing package for a discounted mini-vacation at one of our resorts with and active sales center. This position will also make outbound calls to customers to follow up regarding vacation requests. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Sells mini-vacations packages for multiple property locations following the business rules for corporate telemarketing both in an inbound and outbound mode. Maintain an upbeat positive and motivated demeanor especially when interacting with Hilton guest, co-workers, supervisors and managers. Maintain individual sales and marketing goals for performance measures. Ensures guest meets minimum eligibility requirements to tour sales center. Use teledirect application and Voice to sell and process package sales. Distributes only Hilton Grand Vacations authorized information, and ensures that information is accurate. Job Requirements : EDUCATION -High School Diploma or GED SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation. · Superior sales knowledge and ability to close the sale. · Basic computer skills. · Basic math skills. · Detailed and goal oriented. · Timeshare industry knowledge. · Ability to handle challenging customers and phone calls. EXPERIENCE · Minimum 6 months timeshare telemarketing experience preferred. · Experience working in a professional and performance driven environment.
