Internet Sales Coordinator

The Internet Sales Coordinator is a full-time entry level salesposition for a hotel management company. Candidate must have theability to maintain composure, think clearly and perform well underpressure in a fast-paced environment. Experience in the hotel industryviewed as a plus, but not required.

Job Requirements:
A successful candidate would possess the following qualifications:

-Ability to type at minimum 35 wpm required.
-Intermediate computer knowledge and literacy.
-Basic administrative knowledge (i.e. creating business letters, professional phone etiquette, etc)
-Excellent math and analytical skills with emphasis on researching, interpreting and translating a variety of data.
-Ability to multi-task.
-Great communication skills.
-Excellent verbal and written English skills.
-Excellent at multitasking, prioritizing and coordinating
-Able to learn new software applications readily from a user standpoint
-Excellent organization skills for maintenance of essential records
-Solid interpersonal, networking and public relation skills
-Understanding of hotel structure and interaction between departments
-Good team player and willing to “pitch-in” to help co-workers where need be

Job Description
This position is responsible for coordinating, maintaining andperforming key operations related to the internet sales database andproperty management systems for the Sales & Marketing Department.It involves tracking internet reservations, no shows and cancellations,as well as, providing non-routine, complex administrative support tothe Director of Sales & Marketing. Will be expected to pro-activelycontribute to the department by identifying and determining relevantissues/objectives, and assist in recommendation of quantifiablesolutions. Candidate will be expected to research, interpret, andanalyze an array of data and information to compile presentations andreports as directed. Prepare written correspondence to include,memorandums, contracts, sales letters, cover letters, thank youletters, mailings, collateral requests, etc. Communicate all lastminute changes, additions, and/or cancellations via telephone or handdelivered memo. Maintain utmost confidentiality of all information seenand heard at all times. Must be willing to perform any otherjob-related duties as deemed necessary by Director of Sales ordesignee.

EDUCATION:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
