Golden Corral is the BEST family-style buffet and grill restaurant chain in America. Our guests feel welcomed and appreciated from the moment they enter our doors, and so do our management team members. Both Inc., a franchisee of Golden Corral with 19 locations in MD, VA and GA, with 2 more locations coming in 2008, is seeking experienced KITCHEN MANAGERS to join the Management Team. Restaurant units average 11,500 square feet, seat up to 500 customers, employ up to 100 hourly employees, and generate sales of $3 to $6 million dollars. KITCHEN MANAGER: At Golden Corral our Kitchen Managers are responsible for controlling food costs by ordering, receiving, storing, and producing all food products, small wares and ensures standards for preventative maintenance on equipment are followed for the Back-of-the-House and production. Our Kitchen Managers oversee the kitchen operations and maintain food product inventory levels in accordance with Golden Corral guidelines, working closely with the Front of the House Manager and General Manager to provide guest service excellence while maximizing profits. ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Recruit, train and develop talented Co-Workers and ensure that all positions are fully staffed. Perform performance appraisals and disciplinary counseling sessions for Co-Workers. Cross train Co-Workers in positions other than their primary position. Conduct pre-shift meetings with Co-Workers. Are able to step in provide hands on support and guidance in both FOH and BOH, and successfully manage a high volume restaurant on the General Managers days off.
