Company VisionWyndham Vacation Ownership’s vision is to deliver a lifetime of memorable vacation experiences for our owners.  This vision is supported by our mission statement which states: •  We embrace and live the Wyndham values by creating a supportive environment for employees to develop and prosper. •  We delight our customers by meeting their needs or exceeding their expectations.•  We are “memory makers.” Warm, thoughtful, gracious hospitality is our culture and through our Count on Me service philosophy, our employees make the following service promise to our owners:  to be responsive to your needs, to be respectful in every way and to deliver a great experience for each and every owner.  Through the MAGIC (Making A Great Impression on the Customer) program, our employees strengthen their customer service skills and embody the five steps of MAGIC for successful execution of signature service.   In your role as the Maintenance Manager, you will help us deliver outstanding service and hospitality to our guests to ensure they have a memorable vacation while staying with our resorts each and every time. § Create a positive work environment by maintaining the highest level of ethics and integrity consistent with applicable regulatory standards and Wyndham  Vacation Ownership values.§ Responsible for coordinating and supervising all upkeep, maintenance, and repair functions for a total of Resort Property.  § Maintain the highest quality of staff through effective recruiting, hiring, retention, coaching, succession planning and training.§ To ensure all work is performed in a timely and cost effective manner to the standards established by the company.  § Budget development and compliance, inventory purchasing control; negotiation and management of service contracts for maintenance, repair, construction,  renovation, and service from all required outside contractors.  § Ensuring safety and security as required by the company and local, State, and Federal jurisdictions.  § To act as the company’s liaison, ensuring the department exhibits hospitality standards and ‘Customer Delight’.  § To ensure all departments are in full compliance with SOP’s. § Three to Five years in Hospitality Maintenance or related industry. § Two to Five years in a Supervisory or Management capacity. § Three plus years general experience in Mechanical, HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, and small appliance repair.  § Strong contractor and vendor negotiation skills.§ OSHA Training.§ Knowledgeable in ADA requirements. § Knowledgeable of power, water and sewer distribution.§ Working understanding and ability to read blue prints.§ Knowledgeable in fire codes and fire protection.§ Organizational Skills.§ Excellent communication skills.
