Membership Director - Trainee

Canongate Golf Clubs (www.canongategolf.com) has an exceptional opportunity for a trainee to join one of the most successful private club companies in the world.  Canongate has 19 Atlanta area private club and 7 private clubs in Houston which have been providing fantastic facilities and services to the golf community since 1965.  We are currently seeking a Membership Director in training in Macon.

 

In this key role you will be responsible for increasing membership sales via:

  Closing leads generated from advertising and direct marketing programs. Develop guerilla marketing strategy to generate leads. Cold calling corporations and individual prospects. Establishing referral feeder relationships with realtors, homebuilders, etc. Networking with club members and community.

 

We are seeking candidates who possess a very successful track record in sales, a positive attitude, high self-esteem, and a customer service focus.

 

In addition, successful candidates will meet the following requirements:

  Plus 1 year of relevant sales experience in a hospitality or membership sales environment. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and contact management programs. Extremely organized and detail-oriented. Demonstrates good leadership and time management skills. Self motivated, driven and professional Basic golf knowledge.
