Multiple Pricing Coordinators for Travel Company

The Opportunity:

Due to tremendous growth, we are actively seeking multiple Pricing Coordinators for our Corporate Headquarters office in Ramsey, NJ.  This is a great entry to mid-level position with incredible career advancement opportunities.  The Pricing Coordinator is responsible for the proper, efficient and accurate loading and maintenance of rates, inventory and product descriptive information via the company’s in-house computer system.   

 

The Specifics:

The coordinator is accountable for accurate data entry as must possess analytical and mathematical skills in order to effectively calculate package pricing and promotional offers.  Daily responsibilities include the following:

1.   Follow instructions of the marketing team to load and maintain vendor contracts. 

2.   Adhere to strict, time-sensitive deadlines.  

3.   Data entry to load and maintain rates and inventory.  

4.   Create and maintain all packages and promotions. 

5.   Verification of all entered data for accuracy and completion.  

6.   Maintenance of descriptive information for all suppliers. 

7.   Manual calculation of markups, commissions, packages and promotional rates.   

8.  Handle daily departmental inquiries regarding information that has been loaded in the computer system.  

 

What Education and Skills are Required?

·         At least 2 years of related professional work experience. 

·         Proficiency with the computer and Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).

·         Good writing and grammatical skills.

·         Excellent math and analytical skills.

·         Must be extremely detail oriented and possess strong communication and organizational skills. 

·         Self-starter with strong sense of ownership and involvement is critical. 

·         Ability to work in a very fast paced, high volume - deadline oriented environment.
