Job Summary This position is responsible for the development, evaluation, maintenance and promotion of all training related materials, including but not limited to: manuals, forms, evaluations, standards, and surveys. In addition, this position will be the PeopleWorks and Training communications link to the field and various other On The Border and Restaurant Support Center departments, as it pertains to brand initiatives and projects. Key Performance Elements/Essential Functions Project Management & Instructional Design work: · Update/create/design training manuals, forms, evaluations, standards, programs, surveys job aids and module development (i.e. Training With Mucho Gusto, MID program, menu study guides, wallet cards, posters) · Proof and manage production of print/video/e-learning material for final publication and rollout · Act as project contact and/or coordinator for all training initiatives and meetings that involve training revisions, updates and rollouts · Communication link with the field and other RSC internal departments and operations · Manage BrinkerWeb OTB training content · Maintain an archive of all training publications/materials · Some facilitation required Manager In Development (MID) Summits – 5x per year: · Manage budget (handle, submit and track invoices for payment) · Handle all vendor relations and negotiate pricing for all MID Summit related expenses · Manage/update summit and ServSafe attendees lists · Responsible for communication to attendees via email (i.e. announcement, confirmation, information letter, itinerary, participant’s agenda, follow-up) · Responsible for communication to facilitators via conference call · Coordinate travel, ground transportation, hotel and F&B for all attendees · Coordinate meeting space, room set-up and handouts · Update and maintain all speaker presentations · Compile and evaluate results of participant feedback New Restaurant Openings (NRO): · Coordinate travel, ground transportation, hotel, pcards and pay compensation for NRO Trainers · Create arrival/departure lists and calculate travel pay · Responsible for communication to Trainers via email and mail · Print, assemble, package and mail Trainer packets · Print, assemble, package and mail print material/material box to restaurant · Manage Trainer evaluations · Support LM and Trainers as needed Training Administration and Other Duties: · Support Mgr. of Training Design and VP of PeopleWorks with administrative duties as needed · Create Learning Plans and support RAS requirements and needs · Handle, submit and track all invoices for payment · Handle all department vendor relations and negotiate pricing · Manage communications with vendors, Restaurant Managers, Area Directors, Regional Directors and Operations · Attend and/or coordinate meetings and conferences: GM Conference, Operator Meetings, Development Seminars · Responsible for meeting presentations (creation, facilitation, edits and handouts) · Some travel required Qualifications: · College degree preferred · 2 - 3 years training experience · 1 - 3 years project management experience from inception to implementation and follow up · 1- 3 years design or writing experience preferred · Restaurant experience a plus · Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Acrobat Reader/Distiller and desktop publishing software Skill and Abilities: · Excellent written and verbal communication skills · Excellent organizational skills · Excellent proofreader and grammar knowledge · Strong presentation skills · Detail oriented · Self motivated · Ability to efficiently manage multiple tasks, new and ongoing projects, and constant communication concurrently. · Flexible · Team player If you’re a professional who delivers on your promises – and promises to add value to every action you take; if you value diversity in people and their perspectives; and challenge yourself with worthwhile risks, then discover a fresh new way to think about business and your career with Brinker International.
