We seek an analytical professional to join us at our headquarters in Silver Spring, MD. As our Project Manager, IS Strategy & Planning, you will help develop strategies for aligning information systems and corporate business processes. This will require you to support and eventually lead operational, multi-departmental and strategic projects.

Responsibilities include facilitating departmental and managerial participation in the strategic development process by performing cost-benefits analyses, analyzing the industry & competitive landscape, recommending strategies, and tracking initiatives. Other duties include creating “buy-in” for recommendations, managing project implementation and coordinating efforts with IT, plus helping develop business cases for assessing/screening potential initiatives. This will include performing market research/sizing, financial modeling, competitive assessment and implementation planning.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree – MBA or MIS desiredAt least 2 years of professional background, preferably with a Fortune 500 company or consulting firm Proven success in project management, financial modeling and business case developmentStrong communication and collaborative skillsAbility to travel 15% of the time

The preferred candidate has experience coordinating business and IS functions, understands information systems as well as systems development, and has expertise in franchising or hospitality.
