Join the Dave & Buster's Team as the Purchasing Coordinator. This person acts as liaison for the stores on Amusement Purchasing and Inventory. Ensures stores receive support on their replenishment cycle and merchandise needs. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Uses independent decision making abilities to establish effective working relationships with stores to provide assistance in Amusement purchasing. Responsible for Direct Import Redemption inventory, including on hand, orders, receiving, issuing and tracking. Skillfully analyzes numbers from multiple sources to identify trends in Amusements Inventory, and uses analysis to assist with assuring Amusements inventory liability guidelines are upheld in the event of product changes or deletions. Initiates contact with suppliers to obtain Amusement products. Assists with development of alternate sources of resources to insure that the Amusement operations run efficiently and without interruption. Manages warehouse/storage set-up and control. Coordinates direct import efforts. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Bachelor's Degree or 2-5 years of progressive experience in Purchasing or Inventory and Merchandising in a retail or Amusement/Entertainment environment. Open to travel as 5-10% travel may be required. LANGUAGE SKILLS Excellent oral and written communication skills are required. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to to productively interact with vendors regarding orders, minimums, shipping. Ability to interface well with other World Headquarters Departments, as well as with stores. Strong telephone communications skills are required. COMPUTER SKILLS Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Access, Photo Editor, Power Point), as well as Lotus Notes, is required.
